1932: The Origins
A Journey of Passion, Tradition and Style.
It all began in 1932, when Salvatore Desole, an employee at the Ara Tessuti company, cultivated the desire to open his own shop. Married to Antonietta Piu Deffenu, a relative of Diana Tessuti of Via Brigata Sassari, he decided to embark on his entrepreneurial journey.
At the time, purchasing a dress occurred in two phases:
first the fabric was chosen, then the tailor was commissioned to make it. Salvatore Desole understood this need and opened a haberdashery shop in Piazza Rosario 5, offering trinkets and accessories necessary for making clothes.

The 50's
The arrival of women's clothing.
During a trip to Florence , a reference city for Italian fashion, Salvatore and his wife were fascinated by the new trends. This led them, in the mid-1950s, to expand the shop by renting the adjacent space and opening a sales point dedicated to women's clothing , with representative garments and dresses of the time.

The 60s
Cinderella and the Underwear (1959-1962)
In 1959, the brand grew further with the opening of " La Cenerentola ", a shoe shop in Via Cavour , later moved to Via Brigata Sassari 31 , where it is still located today.
A few years later, another store dedicated to underwear and household linen was opened next to the women's clothing store.
In 1962 , upon the death of Salvatore Desole, his wife and children continued to manage and grow the business with the same passion and dedication.

The 70s
Fashion Change. and new outlets.
In the 70s, Enzo Desole and his wife Vanna, sensing the changing trends and the emergence of a younger audience, experimented with new sales concepts. After some in-store tests, they decided to open a new store in Viale Italia, in an area experiencing strong commercial expansion. Thus was born " 2+Desole ", located at number 18.
